Those changes, among others, were unveiled by co-presidents Jason Hirschhorn, 38, and Mike Jones, 34, this week following the abrupt departure of CEO Owen Van Natta in February after just 10 months on the job.
The two remaining executives, who once shared a single office with Van Natta and now remain in it together, declined to comment much on Van Nattas departure, other than to say his decision to leave was between him and parent News Corp.s chief digital officer Jonathan Miller.
They also shed no new light on the ongoing ad-sharing deal with Google Inc., which forms the backbone of MySpaces [...]

The 30-second ads began appearing last week when users listen to songs on artist profiles, album pages, playlists and pop-out players. They expand on a trial that began in December.
The ads are impossible to avoid, unlike the visual, banner ads that can be put out of sight in background windows as users listen along while doing other Web surfing or computer work. But the audio ads are timed so that a user can listen to up to 100 songs on a playlist or to a full album with just a single interruption after the first song.

The $20 million agreement to purchase iLike confirmed rumors that had circulated this week.
ILike, which has 55 million users, will remain headquartered in Seattle, and its management team will stay intact, with brothers Ali and Hadi Partovi in the top two slots. They founded the service in 2006 with $16.5 million in venture capital, mostly from Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc.
Owen Van Natta, who replaced co-founder Chris DeWolfe as MySpace chief executive in April, told reporters on a conference call that iLike technology will help MySpace users share songs, videos and games away from their MySpace home pages.

The move comes less than two months after MySpace, a unit of Rupert Murdochs News Corp., hired former Facebook executive Owen Van Natta, 39, as its new chief executive.
It also comes a day after data from tracking firm comScore show Facebook has caught up with MySpace in monthly U.S. visitors for the first time.
“Simply put, our staffing levels were bloated and hindered our ability to be an efficient and nimble team-oriented company,” Van Natta said in a statement.
The cuts amount to about 420 people, bringing the total number of MySpaces U.S. staff to 1,000. As of May, Facebook had about [...]
